About
Dr Tim Rolfe is a senior psychiatrist with over 40 years of experience in mental health. He has held various senior leadership positions as a clinical director of several adult mental health services, dual diagnosis (mental health and substance use) services and the Victorian Multiple and Complex Needs (MACNI) assessment service. He is also a Foundation Fellow of the Australasian Chapter of Addiction Medicine.
For the last 10 years Tim has specialised in neuromodulation treatments including Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS), transcranial electrical stimulation (tDCS & tACS) and neurofeedback. He is the Director of Therapeutic Brain Stimulation at Austin Health where he provides a variety of neuromodulation interventions and conducts clinical research. He is a long-standing member of the Victorian Chief Psychiatrists Neurostimulation committee and is a member of the expert panel. Tim is a one of a handful of Psychiatrists in Australia certified at the Diplomate level with the International QEEG Certification Board and is training in neurofeedback.

Brain stimulation. An overview of TMS, tDCS & tACS
This session will explore clinical applications of neurofeedback and QEEG, current understanding of their mechanisms, and how these relate to broader neurostimulation approaches. Discussion will include collaborative opportunities with psychiatrists using TMS, with practical insights on integrating QEEG with TMS
